The Building and Zoning Department
is dedicated to the enforcement of building codes
and adopted zoning ordinance to safeguard the public health, safety and general welfare
to life and property from fire and other hazards attributed to the built environment,
and to provide the citizens and builders of the county with competent,
consistent, courteous and timely inspection services.
The objective of the Code Enforcement Division is to promote a clean, healthy,
and safe environment for the citizens of Woodruff. The Division is achieving
this objective through the enforcement of local ordinances related to, environmental control,
junkyards, nuisance signs, substandard housing, and property maintenance.
